So I downloaded the consumer preview of Windows 8 and thankfully S+ runs fine; in Desktop mode of course, not on the programs screen, which I didn't expect any programs like S+ would be allowed to interact there.
Actually there is a problem. StrokePlus can't hide itself from the taskbar. The same problem happen with StrokeIt. I'm hoping you can fix it so I finally have a motivation to migrate from StrokeIt So many gesture settings to move...
I see you didn't read the New Bugs forum =) I noticed that too and added it. Always a chance that MS hasn't realized the way Win8 is determining if an app window warrants a taskbar button needs to be re-evaluated, but the bug still stands for Win7 with gesture window always visible and restarting Explorer.
S+ does not have the WS_EX_APPWINDOW extended style, thus it would appear the Win8 CP shell is disregarding this rule; unless they have something else in mind for handling these types of windows.
